Frame:
PARIS is another exciting new addition to the 2011 Pinarello line-up. DOGMA established the new construction philosophy at Pinarello: total asymmetry. In developing the PARIS, Pinarello’s engineers fully embraced this new philosophy, producing the company’s second fully asymmetrical frame.
Designed and built using Pinarello LAB’s SOE System (Simulation, Optimize, Evolution), PARIS is a compact and harmoniously shaped frame constructed from Torayca 50HM1, 5K carbon with Nanoalloy technology using Pinarello’s pioneering EPS molding system first introduced to produce the venerable DOGMA.
The similarities do not stop there. Pinarello engineers derived the Onda ™ FPK fork PARIS is equipped with from DOGMA’s FPX1 fork using the same 1 '1/8 "to 1' 1/4" tapered fork crown. PARIS, like the DOGMA, utilizes an oversize MoST Croxover bottom bracket system. PARIS boasts Onda FPK™ asymmetric monostay rear stays and a raw frame weight of 1,040 grams.
